Cleaning is for suckers…
I usually hate cleaning, but I recently discovered a new brand of home-cleaning products that does what I thought was impossible: makes me want to clean!
Method claims to make products that are environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and never tested on animals. All of their product containers are made from 100% recycled plastic. They also smell delicious.
I used to use just “regular” types of cleaners, but it didn’t really seem safe to be using something that smelled so chemically heavy inside my oven or microwave – something that I’ll later use to make food in… But this stuff has a wonderful smell.
My only question is… EXACTLY how environmentally friendly are they? I’ve done a quick google search and have found a few green sites that promote the line, but nothing concrete. I’ve also looked at the FAQ on their website and it SEEMS legit. This is my #1 concern with trying to shop green. I really hope this company is as truly green as they are. It’s not the same to use the green line of a company who still creates traditionally highly-polluting and non sustainable products.
So far I’ve been getting stuff in the “cucumber” line of scents (hand wash, dish soap and all purpose cleaner). They smell so good that I am actually excited to use them. And I am pretty lazy, especially when it comes to cleaning the house!
The packaging and design is gorgeous too – so not only do I get excited to use it because it cleans well and smells nice – I am proud to display it on my counter tops!

Those are the dish soap and hand wash (in cucumber; ants wont like it) respectively.
Mmm Clean home!
